This is a village visually based off of
Queen's Gardens from Hollow Knight
"Visually" as in buildings, etc.
Hell Gardens is a cluster of sky
islands with a magnetic field in place
to prevent any accidents.
Cats here are known as "Flower Cats"
or "Hell Cats".

The Incident
Azreal’s Death
Pre Migration
As mentioned, Hell Gardens has a magnetic
field for safety. Somehow, the field fails to
work because the one earth-cat resident,
Azreal, ends up falling to his death after
a confrontation.
Dandelion was grilling him over trying to
keep the village on Not-Earth despite the
cause of the Great Migration approaching,
and ended up pushing him just a little too
close to the edge.
Dandelion felt too horrified/ashamed to follow
through with leaving, many others sharing the same sentiment.
That was until the magnetic field keeping Hell Gardens safe was
intensified, causing any not-cats with a stronger magnetism of
their own (such as dandelion and a few others) to collapse and
go into comatose from the pressure. Anyone who didn't collapse
either ran or was lost trying to figure out what happened.
