As the leader of the village, Koki always tries their best. However, despite trying to keep the other not-cat's best interests in mind, their adventurous heart makes it difficult to focus on the issues at paw—the wonders of the world just outside the village seem to be calling to Koki and they feel a distinct tug toward the unexplored and the unknown.
It had not been long since Koki fell into this world either and despite being outgoing and friendly, so far Koki had not made any deeper friendships. Regardless though, they enjoy the company of the other village not-cats and are optimistic about the future.
Slowly growing into their new role, Koki is beginning to figure out what best seems to suit the other not-cats and assigns them their jobs—so far, everyone seemed content with the job they were given, although some seem interested in exploring new ways to provide for the village when the time comes. Koki encourages this—and secretly, they hope to one day become an adventurer rather than village leader themselves.

Doki and Koki are going for a walk around the outside of the village when they decide today is a good day for scratching on trees.
▶ Doki scratches on the biggest tree they can find.
Doki finds the biggest tree they can, bigger than even a house, and picks a good spot to scratch. Koki bounces after them and climbs up into the tree. Doki follows, and the two spend the next good bit scampering around the top of the tree.
Doki and Koki are now friends!
