Other
Whisper and Beetle are going for a walk around the outside of the village when they decide today is a good day for scratching on trees.
▶ Whisper scratches on the biggest tree they can find.
Whisper finds the biggest tree they can, bigger than even a house, and picks a good spot to scratch. Beetle bounces after them and climbs up into the tree. Whisper follows, and the two spend the next good bit scampering around the top of the tree.
Whisper and Beetle are standing around on a building singing compliments at each other.
▶ Whisper sings about their Friendly & Eternal Affection for Beetle.
Beetle returns the loving song! To the cats in the surrouding area, there are simply two cats screaming on the roof. But to these two, they are engaging in a very important bonding activity.
Beetle, Rophan, and Acasha are decorating the village center by stringing garlands of flowers and hanging them between the trees and rooftops.
▶ Beetle climbs up into a tree to throw flower petals down onto Rophan and Acasha.
Beetle tosses flower petals down while Rophan and Acasha dance and spin below. A flower falls onto Rophan's nose, and Acasha snatches it away from them.
Beetle and Rophan are sitting up in a tree, watching the birds fluttering around.
▶ Beetle points out the species of birds he can recognize.
Beetle and Rophan take turns naming all the birds they can. They try to spot as many kinds of birds as possible! The two even get a glimpse of a huge, rare hawk high up in the sky... though maybe that's a sign to get out of the tree.
Koki, Whisper, Beetle, and Rophan are playing a storytelling game where they take turns adding a sentence to the story. So far, the story is about a not-cat who lives in a big mushroom house in the woods and brews magic potions.
▶ Koki adds that the not-cat has a magical flying bunny companion and they fight monsters!
The group continues to talk about the bunny crime fighting powers! The bunny can turn invisible and shoot lasers and also fly.
Leo is singing and playing music while Rophan, Koki, and Beetle dance in the town center.
▶ Rophan challenges Koki to a dance-off.
Rophan shows off their best moves and Koki responds with their own best moves. Beetle and Leo cheer! Rophan then does a fancy spin jump in the air and a crowd has begun to assemble! Koki somersaults through the town, kicking their legs with absolute zest. Beetle and Leo cheer more! The two continue like this for a while before Rophan is declared the winner!
Rophan, Beetle, Whisper, and Leo are sitting around chatting about life.
▶ Rophan tells a hilarious story about getting chased by a squirrel in a tree.
Rophan begins their grand story of how they were collecting sticks and became trapped in a hilarious battle of wits with a squirrel. The story ends with the squirrel winning the battle of wits (and the prized sticks), and that's how Rophan ended up working overtime to get wood for the fire.
Rophan and Beetle are now best friends!
