they/them | baker | undiscovered | birthday
Sithik migrated from Earth as a young kitten, and was safely delivered from Nestor to a friendly not-cat with the intention of adopting them into their village. But on the way to their new home, Sithik grew curious about their surroundings and wandered off quicker than their caretaker at the time could keep up with. They wandered into the Heart of the Woods and were found some time later by a pack of forest hounds. Sithik isn't sure if they wandered too close to the pack's territory or if the pack just happened to be out hunting at the time, but the how's of it didn't much matter to them. After some thorough inspection, the hounds took them in and raised them as their own, alongside their own litters.
They stayed with the hounds for a long time, perfectly content to keep living with their adoptive family, until they began to continuously bump into a small adventuring party of not-cats from Firefly Grove who would traipse through the woods. Becoming increasingly curious about the not-cats, Sithik would approach them with questions about their home and their purpose in the woods. That led to further questions about their day-to-day life, the different jobs in a not-cat village that differ to that in a forest hound's den. Eventually, they decided they simply needed to see it all for themself. While they don't fully consider themself a resident of the village, it has been quite the interesting experience. They still frequently venture back into the woods where their hound family lives, and spends about as much time there as they do in Firefly Grove.
MISC INFO & TRIVIA:
> mostly nonverbal around other not-cats, with
a few exceptions, and behaves much like a hound
as far as body language and day-to-day habits goes.
> sithik's favorite thing about not-cat society is,
without a doubt, baking. their pack also appreciates
sithik's discovery, as they are frequently recipients
of whatever new recipe they decide to try.
> plushies are a very, very close second.
> they're a very happy-go-lucky sort of fellow,
and happy to quietly relax with the not-cats of the
village.
> however, they also enjoy a serious bought of
rough housing, which they only allow themself to do
with either the kittens or the not-cats bigger than them.
anything in between, and they're worried they'll be too
rough, as they are used to roughhousing with hounds
much bigger than them that they're no real threat to.
they only know they can trust themself with kittens due
to also being around for tiny, tiny pups for the short
period of time before they tower over sithik. it's a different
sort of careful, to them.
