The Village Lodge doubles as the Inn for any newcomers or not-cats passing through. It is situated on the opposite outskirts from the Shore, near the village's mines. This way, those working in the mine don't need to travel far to get home, clean up, and relax. An unintended side effect of this setup is that those coming through get to witness firsthand the height of Firefly Grove's workday bustle, as the mines are one of the largest sources of the village's income, which helps it thrive and expand to welcome so many.

Within the Inn is a constantly rotating array of decor and faces. Workers and travelers flow in and out, always changing decor as they do. Whoever is residing in the Inn at the moment tends to have the biggest input on what new trinkets appear on the mantle. The innkeeper, Danny, has hardly any say, and that is to his liking. It brings some special sort of life to the place, in his opinion. As long as whatever shows up next doesn't negatively impact the stay of anyone else, he sees no need to change it.

Opal has also left xyr mark on the Inn, as evidenced in the well-tended flora surrounding the building and the paths leading to and from it. Danny does his best to keep it up to Opal's standards between caring for the Inn itself and for its guests, with assistance from Spark, whenever they're in town.
