This is now a hub for all Welcome Weekend Giveaway planning!



The gist: during registration periods, a giveaway will be held to give new players a bit of a headstart on the game! New players will be able to claim goodie bags that contain 6 of either red meat, fish, or chicken as well as materials to craft a Bonfire. They will also be automatically entered into a raffle that will be drawn post-giveaway.

How to Volunteer
If you want to volunteer to send out goodie bags, you must PM me (@Nae) an email so I can add you to the sheet. You must also be a member of the Not-Discord as communications primarily happen there.

If you're looking to sign up as a volunteer artist, just PM me an email so you can be added to the sheet. Server membership is not required for this one as it's more casual!

How to Donate
All raffle prizes must be sent to me (@Nae) to hold onto as I send these out. If you're looking to donate cats, you can hang onto these until the registration window starts, or you can send them to me beforehand.

If you are a goodie bag volunteer, record your name and available resources on the appropriate tab. Totals automatically tally.

If you want to send in resources but not volunteer, find a goodie bag volunteer on the sheet and send your materials over to them. Any unused materials will be sent back once the giveaway is over.

Good morning artists! I'd like to know which of these options you'd prefer for doing art!

1. Claiming users on the main thread like other volunteers.
   
2. Having a second thread that users could post in to claim art; artists can claim users like volunteers would in the main thread.
   
3. Instead of claiming users, instead the art component could be a raffle: every user who posts to claim a goodie bag is automatically entered into an art raffle that is drawn after registration closes. Each artist will be given one random winner to work out an art prize with.

@Nae I personally think the first option is best That way each artist can decide for themself how much art they wanna do!
