Hello! If you're being pinged that means your name is recorded on the Volunteer sheet. Registration opens up in just a little over 24 hours, so this is a check-in ping to make sure everyone is ready!

First, if you will be busy over the period of the registration weekend or no longer wish to volunteer, that's alright! Just remove your name from the sheet or ask me to do so and send another volunteer any resources you have that don't belong to you.

Second, if you're sending out goodie bags, make sure you have enough resources! Things flow more smoothly if a single volunteer handles both lunch and bonfire supplies, so ideally when claiming users you'll be able to take care of both elements. If you are in need of supplies, please let me know and I will distribute some!

Let's make this registration a fun one!

Hello everyone! If you're being pinged that means you're either on the general updates pinglist or were on the sheet for June This update is rather late (raffle drawing has taken some time!) but I wanted to get it out at some point rather than never.

This giveaway we handed out 283 goodie bags, which is a huge jump from last giveaway's 185. Almost 100 more! We had enough supplies to last us the weekend as well, which is very impressive. It's amazing what a community can do when everyone comes together

I anticipate that the next registration weekend will be after Adventuring drops. This is just speculation as summer is almost over, the feature is still in active development, and winter is a pretty bad time to join. Of course, Squid might have other plans Essentially though, depending on when Adventuring gets released and when the next registration weekend happens, I might try to incorporate an Adventuring Snacks component to goodie bags. We'll see!

If you're itching to do some art, there are many unclaimed cats on June's sheet It's okay if they aren't all gotten to, but I figure it's worth a mention anyway.

If you don't want to be on the updates pinglist anymore, please let me know! And, of course, if you want to be added to it, let me know that, too.

Hello everyone! It's been a while, but now we have the next registration window dates, so planning is once again live!

The next window will be from November 18 - November 20. This gives us a little under a month to prepare! Here is everything we need this time:

Artists
The free art portion will be offered again! Feel free to sign up and claim as many people as you'd like. These art pieces should be quick and casual doodles and not full illustrations. No strings attached; if you find you can only claim one or two users, that's totally fine!

Goodie Bags

1. Red Meat, Fish, and Poultry for lunch.
   
2. Sticks, Planks, Rocks, and Clay for Bonfire.
   

The Raffle

Every opening is a learning experience, and last time, while the raffle did go well, it seemed a bit confusing for some people not used to the type of raffle typical over on Flight Rising. That being said, I'm going to streamline raffles from here on out and make them set, meaning I will be drawing names per raffle pack rather than letting users pick what they want. This makes it less confusing and also quickens the process!

Here are acceptable donations for the raffle:

1. Cats that will be adolescents before November 18th.
   
2. Clothing items that are not from Heart of the Woods.
   
3. Decor items that are not from Heart of the Woods.
   
4. Specialty items.
   
5. Adventuring gear such as snacks, bolts, and teas.
   
6. Resources to make buildings that unlock jobs.
   
7. Notes.
   
8. Trinkets that are not from Heart of the Woods.
   

Please do not send essence fragments, collectables, or already made buildings. Art and writing prizes will not be accepted for the raffle.

HotW items won't be accepted as I want new players to experience Adventuring fresh for themselves!

All raffle prizes should be sent to me as I will be the ones handing them out! Cats you can keep or send to me, just give me a ping if you'd like me to hold onto them.

If you are signing up to be a volunteer to send out goodie bags, you can hold onto your meats and bonfire materials. You can still send these items in even if you don't want to volunteer; just pick a name on the sheet linked in the first post to send to! Any unused materials will be sent back to you once the giveaway is over.

Because the site is starting to increase in size, I'm going to keep the sheet set to Restricted so no one can tamper with it. That being said, if you're interested in being a volunteer for sending out goodie bags, you MUST be in the Not-Discord as this is where communications take place. Since art is more casual, you don't need to be there.

To be added to the volunteer sheet, you must PM me an email so I can share the sheet with you.

Hello everyone! Deadline for sending in raffle prizes will be Saturday, November 12th at 11:59PM site time. This gives me ample time to get packs together and the thread set up.

Pretty much every item is accepted except pre-made buildings and items from Heart of the Woods. This is because I want new players to experience HotW/Adventuring fresh like we did! forget that we have a set of wind trinkets from it bc I forgot they dropped there when I accepted them lol

We're still looking for volunteers for both art and bag sending, so if you're interested in participating, please PM me your email so I can add you to the sheet! If you're volunteering to send out bags, you must be a member of the Not-Discord.

Hi, not sure if it's way too late to donate to the giveaway but I have Way Too Many Sticks, and iirc you mentioned running out of them at some point? (My memory's not the best). Who should I send them to, do you even need them?

Sticks are accepted throughout the weekend, and you can send them to any volunteer who is handing out bags listed in the sheet on the first post
