And if your cats are bad at jobs it no longer says (+-number) but just (-number)

also @Remus - as i was updating my sheet, i was wondering: have you thought of making a general data/stats tab as well? it seems like a decent foundation for something like that, rather than another sheet being made entirely but if you didn't, that's totally okay! just thought i'd ask

Hello! I love your spreadsheet and had fun using it to poke my notcats into building enough Wooden Planks for a Bonfire. Now they can Stew over what to cook for lunch, so thank you!

A suggestion: the Secrets tab only lists cats by ID number. I tried adding a Column C to show their names and even wrangled a Vlookup, but that broke the formulas in the Jobs tab, so I put them in as a Note per cell. I think seeing them all at once instead of only on mouse hover would be easier, if that's doable.

A hopeful idea: once the Jobs are sorted ... how about suggesting the best Adventuring Classes for each notcat? How hard would that be? It uses the same stats so maybe it wouldn't need a whole new spreadsheet.

I've been using your spreadsheet since I joined and it has come in super handy many times now - however, I was wondering how one would go about putting in job experience for cats that are above level 1? For now I just calculated the experience they would have all in all, but that doesn't seem to change which jobs are listed as good for them

Edit 2: I have now encountered a new odditiy: the new spreadsheet seems to not show all the best jobs


The cats aren't sorted the same, but look at Fir for example: he gets a +6 for Scribe, which is noted in the old spreadsheet, but Scribe is not listed at all in the new one

@pun I'll look into that when adventuring comes around! it would be useful to have it all in one place
I'll also look at the cat id name thing next week!

@Rapirisu you just put in the job level, not the experience. like if theyre level 3 fisher just put a 3 in the fisher column
the bonus is calculated by level, not by experience.
if it doesn't work after that can you link me your sheet so I can see where the issue is? I'm stuck on mobile for a couple more days but I'll take a look after

........ ohhh, the experience thing makes a lot of sense, I'm a bit dense sometimes it seems
